    It's not about control

    We are much happier when we've given up trying to control things - as if we ever could. Early on we develop a primal myth that there is a correllation between our intentions and the events of the universe. If we're lucky, we realize that control is an illusion. Our fear of not having control creates its own suffering - a dog barking at the echo of its own bark. Bliss is realizing we never had control, never can have control - and best of all...the best things in life happen serendipitously, when we give up control.
