    Weaving networks

    This past weekend I connected people in a local organic community garden with a local compost worm program that was able, through its grant, to make a generous donation of goods and supplies to the garden. It was for me a matter of enough serendipitous listening and curiosity in unconnected conversations to make new connections that might not happen otherwise. The potential for these kinds of connections are limited only by the freedom and quality of our connectivity.

    in 2003 my colleague Chris Robertson and I got the chance of a lifetime to bring together 100 emerging Aboriginal leaders that we had identified as needing to meet and talk with one another. It was a fantastic Open Space.

    I sometimes think that this is a responsibility that we consultants have...to travel the world with a thread attached to our asses!
