    Giving trends

    The Give List suggests 71 ways to do giving without opening your wallet. It's a tribute to the currencies of social capital that takes time and imagination. Interestingly in many examples, there is a more direct giving that money never engages. The trend away from economic to social capital currencies is a trend toward building social networks in ways that build community. We need to start measuring community thrivancy on the basis of building shared rather than isolated wealth.
